White lube for the hitch, and a trailer to carry all that stuff.

With duct tape what more do you need? Looks like a very comprehensive list.

There's always something that you miss but there's always a Walmart for those little things.

Have a great pickup trip.

You seem to have included a lot. I would include an air pump/small air compressor, multi bit screw driver, dirty laundry bag and a few zap straps.

June 14th Pickup Checklist

We take a few of the smaller Dollar Store dish pans. They are the handiest things, we put one in the sink for washing dishes in as they fit pretty good and need less water to fill, another is put beside the sink for rinsing. They are also great for carrying things around in.

Cheers

I think I can get MT trailer tags beforehand and put them on after ETI takes the trailer to Sumas. Don't know about Nebraska.

Wow, that's a lot of stuff. Are you going on the road for awhile after orientation/pick up, or just pulling home?

thanks, we pickup on the 8th of June, and this list looks like what I've been doing, but had not written it down yet. I'll include the VISA card to this list. We are also taking some of the small plastic baskets that I figure will hold lots of small stuff tight in small spaces. We found them very handy on the boat. Another item I used a lot in cooking was a metal plate designed to let items simmer on the rip-roaring gas stoves.

It looks like you have an extra item:
Propane tank
Two of these are supplied with the trailer, so you don't need to bring any, unless you have made some unusual arrangement.
And one possibly missing item:
Ball mount
... or other hitch hardware. You have a hitch receiver on the tow vehicle, but you need a ball (2") and whatever you are using mount the ball, which is a ball mount or weight-distributing hitch. If you bought a WDH from Escape as an accessory/option then you're set (it will be there waiting for you), and if you are not using a WDH then you just need a ball and ball mount, and can buy them in Chilliwack after the Escape staff help you determine what drop distance you need with your tow vehicle.

Wow, that is a heck of lot more than we took when we went to Chilliwack to pick up our trailer. We took the basic necessities and then added as we went. Our first stop at a Camping World wrecked $400.00 but by then we knew what kind of a grill that we wanted. We also bought a small electric space heater which quickly took the chill out of the trailer on cold nights. The only thing I see missing is zip-lock baggies. Used them all of the time for everything from small parts to leftovers. Loren

We pack gallon size zip locks. Even more useful than duct tape!

Regarding the dogs. I was told (have not verified) that you will need a letter from your vet indicating that your dog's health is fine (along with a list of vaccinations).

Have fun and enjoy the trip.

Make sure your Visa card is an international or travel card that has no added fee for using it outside of the States. Otherwise, you will get socked with a fee every time you use it in Canada.

Dog trivia (I forgot to remove that part during the cut-and-paste from OneNote). We are bringing our two dachshunds along for the adventure. We found a vet in Lyndon that will board them for our 3-4 hour orientation / pickup run to Chilliwack.
