June in the Okanagan
We spent three days at Okanagan Lake Provincial Park (north) and three days at Haynes Point Provincial Park before going to the Escape Rally at Nk'Mip.
Here are a few photos:

Haynes Point:

In both locations we relied on our solar system for power, and it performed very well!

Brian,
Great shots. And you only sent in two from the rally. You should submit some of those pix as well. Examples of what to see around Osoyoos. Of course, you wouldn't get paid, but that seems to be the way it works these days.
Here is Osoyoos tonight. We got about four rain drops.

Beautiful pics, Brian! I'm wondering, though, if the one bird might be a black-backed grosbeak instead of an oriole?
Love what look like thunderheads...let the kabooms begin!

Brian is that your greyhound (or whippet, hard to tell without scale)?! Glad if there are other sighthound people with Escapes!

Greyhound
Hillary:
Yes, the photo I posted is of our adopted greyhound, Chelsea:
Resting beside the lake | Flickr - Photo Sharing!
She is a former racing dog who was adopted by our son. About a year ago she moved in with us as our son and his wife needed to concentrate on raising their children.
There were other greyhounds and whippets at the Escape rally.

Oriole or Grosbeak
Karen:
I am no bird expert. I was told by someone more experienced than I that the bird is an oriole.

Photos at Rally
baglo
I have to admit that it was difficult for me switching from landscape and wildlife photography to trailers. I saw how well you were doing at capturing the spirit of the rally and I felt you were really rising to the occasion. For those interested, here are the two photos I submitted at Tammy's request.
The first photo is the new Escape 21 with vineyards in the background.
The second it your Escape 17 with a row of other Escapes beside it.

I'm going with Bullock's Oriole, looking at reference pix on my iPhone app, iBird Canada ( which seems to cover all of N.A. ).

I had a look at the magazine that wants the pix. It is aimed at retired people, traveling in RVs. If it was Trailer Life, then the focus would be on the trailer, but, unless I'm wrong, the Escape is incidental really. They were after lifestyle and part of that is flora, fauna, mountains, rocks. All that stuff. I tried to provide pix of happy people having a good time. I tried to get Escape trailers in some of the shots, but that was tough, what with people surrounding the trailer with sewer hoses, canopies, empty chairs and vehicles. I think you should submit more of your pix, as long as you don't mind working for free.

Freedom's just another word
baglo
I sent a link to my Osoyoos photos to Tammy and to Perry Mack as you suggested.
I'm not sure they qualify as "photos and a write-up from the Rally" which was the original request.
In my opinion the great photos you took should meet their requirement!

Okay, I guess I'm going to take different view on this one. The beak is important here. The first pic is the Oriole and the second is the Grosbeak. BTW, Brian, the sunset view at Haynes Point is truly calendar-worthy. What a gorgeous shot!
