Just booked our first big trip

While we will definitely take a few small local trips in our 19 once we get it later this year, we just booked our first real trip in it, and we are pretty darned excited

We've booked seven nights at Anastasia State Park in St Augustine FL for next April. We will be staying in the Coquina Loop, site 109.

We've never been to St Augustine, and Teresa loves the beach and I love old towns and history, so it will be a win/win.

If anyone has spent anytime camping here, would love to hear your experiences.

And this one trip should be a real test of my towing abilities. Not only do we get to go up and over Monteagle Mountain (6% grade), but we also will hit Atlanta wide open (at least it will be a Saturday going and coming back)

Haven't camped there but have stayed in St Augustine. You will love it, the history is really awesome and the beaches and town are great fun.

My daughter attended college there, Flagler College. The beaches are across the water way as is most along the Florida coast down. You have the town and then cross the inland water to the beach A1A which hugs the coast.

Looks like a great campground! Love that they have books to lend to children for bedtime reading - nice idea.
