Old cars

I know from talking to a lot of campers there's a fair percentage of gearheads and antique lovers among them. If you are going to be in the upper Midwest in late June, there's a pretty significant auction in SE Iowa about then. Even if not in your plans, you might enjoy looking at the offering. www.sullivanauctioneers.com. Scroll down to collector car auction Yarmouth Iowa. It's about a hundred miles SE of us. No drooling

Made me think of Pioneer Auto Museum in Murdo, SD. What a fascinating place.

Oils cars

The guy in Murdo has been selling a few, I understand. Still a great collection of basically unrestored. The Harold Warp collection in Minden Nebraska is worth the stop for sure too. Then you can move up to the lump in your throat experience at the Auburn , Cord, Dusenberg museum in Auburn Indiana. Not as many cars but the epitome of grace, beauty and power of its day. NE Indiana, Amish commerce and a very good Restaurant in Shipshewana, great CCC examples at Pokagon state park and the museums at Auburn and South Bend, ( Studebaker)
Did I mention I like old iron?

Shipshewana - I think that's where the Amish place is that rebuilds and build new cooling units for RV fridges that are supposedly better than the originals.

Call me anything you want. Just don't call me late for dinner. Where observers often remark " You gonna eat that or move into it?"
