Thanks Jim …it is a huge country , airport to airport never does it's size justice . Driving across Canada or the US is an amazing experience . Whoever has the opportunity should do so . It's wonderful !! Six weeks wasn't enough for everything - not sure 6 months would be either !

Our Nations capital …. meeting of the reds and the greens?? …… A Rideau River Cruise - very worth the time , beautiful fall colours when we were there …… a camp ground visiter ….

KOA at Sault Ste. Marie ( Canada) , definitely falling leaves here , but lots of cloud ……Bush Pilot's Museum at Sault Ste. Marie ….. the other two are south of Lake superior , beautiful colours

Campground in Fargo ND …….. the Golden Prairies ….. approaching Calgary from the south east a welcome site after 12000 KM in 6 weeks …… home in time for Thanksgiving …...

Your pixs going across the country were wonderful and it is my favourite time of the year. It was funny to see one of your last pixs between the two huge rv's. How did you find your 15A on a six week trip? Did you get an external shower or hot water option with yours? I love the simplicity and layout of the 15A but wonder if I would miss the shower the 15B has.

Hi .... Thanks ......nothing like those big things to make our 15 small ! We love our 15A it is spacious and very comfortable . We do not have the out door shower , we almost always get full hook-ups at cg with showers . With the 15 it really comes down to whether the bathroom or the dinette is more important to you ....for us it was the dinette . Wouldn't change , right one for us ! Actually the dinette was especially comfortable for the long trip , because we often did not unhook or unpack folding chairs and stuff ... Too many thing to see ....

It's all a matter of camping lifestyle. I seldom camp in CGs that don't have facilities, but if I did a PTA bath would be fine. And I don't have to deal with a HW tank or empty a gray or black water tank. Less stress for this ol' camper. Again, just a different lifestyle...

Gabi, I think you followed our exact route through the Maritimes and Ontario <g>. I'll bet the visit to the Bushplane Museum in the Soo brought back some memories for Wolf. We really enjoyed the experience. I spent many hours (as a passenger) in Beaver CF-OBU, serial number 004 when we lived on the Queen Charlotte Islands. Her sister, CF-OBS is on display at the museum. I think these were two of 44 planes originally built for the Ontario government. We had a nice chat with the curator who was unaware that OBU spent time on the Charlottes. It was subsequently sold to someone in the US and is still flying, according to him.

Hi … we may well have followed the same route , but I think you may have been some weeks ahead of us . Driving through Saskatchewan we did see what seemed to be a 19 heading west .
We definitely enjoyed the museum . Wolf spent a lot of hours flying a Beaver , says it's the best bush plane Dehavilland built . The one he was happy to avoid was the Norseman , they had one in Nakina during our time up there nicknamed the " flying coffin " , when they lose power there is no gliding - drops like a rock . Wolf has flown over 20 different planes ( bush, crop spraying and in the Arctic ) .
