I would say the trailer is being thoroughly tested for leaks. But darn that fridge. I just might look into a Yeti cooler yet. You guys have a good safe trip and I'm following your progress on my trusty Rand McNally. Loren

Nice campsite at Pacific City but DANG it was hard to back in! Wifey is cold as we walk on the beach.

Congratulations to you both! She looks super! The interior is certainly bright and cheerful. Thank you for sharing all of this with us. I think however, if you wanted to avoid more rain, you should have come to California (and perhaps brought a bit with you.)
Glad you're having a good time. Safe travels.

You can say that again Loren. Personally I used a much stronger word. That beeping is really irritating. The thought of having to use an ice chest all the way back to Texas just so we can sleep is quite disappointing. So far the Dometic hotline is a joke. The service centers they refer me to are all booked up. I'm not going to ruin our vacation by staying at a service center for a week.

I'd just turn the darned refer off and forget about it for the rest of the journey. Use a cooler like the old days and get the refer fixed when you get home. Otherwise, you might spend your whole time looking for an answer and getting frustrated. This really should have happened to someone (like me) who is close to the manufacturing site or who wasn't going on an extended vacation with the new trailer. Sometimes things just aren't fair.

Just by seeing the formations behind Yolanda I knew you were on the Oregon coast, the most beautiful coastline on the West Coast.

Edited for accuracy.

Sorry to hear of this annoyance, but I bet you can enjoy your travels anyway.

Glad you guys are having a good trip--well, except for the fridge. I think Karen had the right idea. Go old school w/ the ice chest and tackle it when you get home. Please travel safely and thanks for getting those great photos out--a treat!
Peace,
Gae

I'm thinking you have to contact ETI again. They have the contacts at Dometic that can elicit an answer and probably get a service centre to pay attention to your issue.
There might be a five minute fix.

Robert and Yolanda - safe travels back to Texas. Thanks for sharing your pictures. Great looking trailer! Sorry about your fridge issue. Sure do hope they resolve it for you.

I hope it dries up enough for you to visit some of the beautiful waterfalls along the gorge. I also enjoyed a visit to the Bonneville Fish Hatchery and Sturgeon Center near Wahclella Falls.

Light rain pretty much all last night but its not raining right now.

Thanks for the tip about the hatchery. I saw the sturgeon center and the Bonneville Dam on the way to Cascade Locks last night to pick up some ice. We might take the tour.

Ainsworth SP has a built in alarm clock! Trains every 20-30 minutes down below us on the gorge...

Just finished reading your fine trip report. Great stuff. By the time you get near half across New Mexico you're likely to be mostly itching to keep on going, on I-40 back to Texas, but be assured, if (and only if) it makes sense to stop off here in Edgewood, if only to overnight at the WalMart near to the highway, I'll be there to say hello.

Meanwhile, what are these references to a beeping fridge about? I missed something.
