Here's another one to consider, as long as you don't want it this season ( sold out ). Anyway Lee Valley Tools is a great source for all sorts of tools and hardware.
Folding Aluminum Table - Lee Valley Tools

And, then there is the Broadstone folding camp table at Canadian Tire ( or US equivalent ).

That is the table I bought two years ago. We are very happy with ours.

That was my first thought too. It is sooooo shiny.

I should take a photo of ours after a few years with lots of use. Not quite so shiny and pretty any more, but it still works great.

'Past Tents' First Journey

Camped at Riverhaven RV Park on the Snake River west of Boise tonight. Beautiful view of the river and a nice grassy park with fire rings. Full hookups and shower house for 12 bucks a night (thank you Passport America). Crossed Oregon on US 20. There is NOTHING there between Bend and Vale. No wonder they call it the Oregon desert.

Now where the heck is my fishing pole?

Looks like a great place with nice green grass. Even the trees are starting to get leaves again. Still pretty brown and barren around here.

Nice grill! That's what I spent part of my day doing today - researching grills. Love reading about your trip.

Great pictures!
I have a Coleman propane stove, will it work with the quick connect option? I like your grill, almost hope the Coleman won't work with the quick connect!

To the best of my recollection, you are in luck. It won't work with low pressure quick connect.

I don't know about the Coleman, but most grills can be converted to low pressure by removing the on board regulator and replacing it with (brass) fittings readily available at Lowe's or Home Depot, and it is a lot less expensive than purchasing a new grill. I converted a Baby Weber years ago for use on a quick connect on an Aliner and it has served me well. I know the Dickinson is a great grill, but the stainless steel shell does require more than simple inside cleaning to maintain its pretty appearance; my Weber does not. It still looks new after years of use.

I don't think a Coleman stove can be converted to low pressure, but I guess if someone had the lp hardware and know how they could rig something up. I think a Coleman stove works better with the high pressure canisters and I personally wouldn't bother. There's a stove inside the trailer after all. This is for grilling.

If the stainless gets the scratches and swirl marls and patina of use over time, I don't mind that, as long as it works.

Many grills can be converted, but very few stoves can be, especially the lightweight portables. Coleman stoves, specifically, are all lightweight and none can be easily converted.

Previous discussions that cover this pretty well:
Low pressure stove question, again... (April 2013)
Hooking up camp stove and BBQ to the quick connect propane outlet. (May 2014)

My mistake. I misread the post I quoted. Or at least the one Glenn quoted. I though the poster in question said he had a Coleman grill, not a stove. Didn't mean to confuse the issue. Just wanted to make the point that it would be less expensive to convert an already owned grill that is working perfectly than to purchase a new grill. But I would not criticize anyone who does.

Robert, did use have to use any adapter to use your Escape propane for your grill. I thought there were pressure differences to be aware of? Really enjoying your blog. Our turn is coming in about 8 weeks. Gotta get through this tax season first!

I can wait but am trying to get the build sheet in fairly soon and I don't want to make to many mistakes. So ahead of time I am asking for mercy from the readers here if I ask dumb questions. But I guess the best solution is if in doubt, order it and deal with the budget later. I sure have been enjoying Robert's trip report and thank him for sharing. Loren

Same here
My build sheet is done but I have until July 2 to sign off.
There were so many things I thought I needed or wanted then found out otherwise through this forum.
I sooooo do not have the expertise as the others but if you aren't sure about something you can ask and I'll let you know why I ordered or didn't order. lol if that makes any sense lol
