Palm Springs RV parks
We used to spend winters in the Palm Springs area but we owned our lot in Outdoor Resorts. We will be staying for a week in Palm Desert this winter in our E21 but made reservations at Indian Waters in July. I would guess if you have not yet made reservations you may be disappointed to find every place you might wish to stay is already booked. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Also, RV parks there are very expensive, $60 or more per night. One suggestion if you just want a warm climate is to try somewhere in Yuma, especially in Yuma Foothills. Most of the Yuma RV parks will also already be booked but you can often find rv lots that are very nice available from private owners on Yuma Craigslist. Another possibility if you like to boondock is Anza Borrego Desert State Park as you can do so anywhere in the park. As for us, we are spending a week in Palm Desert, 2 weeks in the campground at ABDSP and a month in Yuma before hitting the road for Big Bend NP in TX.
