Telegraph Cove Resort?

Planning a trip to Vancouver Is in July. We are interested in staying in Telegraph cove for a few days, but husband hates places that crowd in cheek to jowl.

I an inquiring about Telegraph Cove Resort campground. They have some spots, but no photos. Anyone stayed there who could give me an idea of what to expect in the way of privacy?

Thanks in advance.

There are two places, the google maps shows Telegraph Cove Marina and RV park. We've already ruled it out. Telegraph Cove Resort is a different resort.

I've been reading the trip advisor reviews, but haven't found any that review the RV part - only the accomodations. Hence my request...
Thanks

Dianne,

From a quick Yahoo search. Sorry that these are old but at least they're reviews of the RV Park.

Have you looked at the campground map? Looks pretty good to me. I like to take the outside spots in places like that.

It's a fabulous area, take the ferry over to Alert Bay. Even if the c.g. is a little more crowded than you'd prefer visiting the area will more than make up for it.

Thanks Ron,
I did print out the campground map. The office sent me the site lengths of several sites that are available. I'm going to show it to my husband tonight. We also tend to prefer outside spots.

We've been there; back in then 80's and 90's we used to go scuba diving there in the winter. Stayed in the rustic, charming cabins. Fabulous diving - in the winter we had visibility exceeding 80 ft; in between diving, the resort owners took us whale watching, but we are too old now (for scuba diving that is).... Many good memories.

Thanks Steven, but that is a different resort. We've already ruled it out. We've found that marina rv parks tend to be parking lots for RVs. Not our cup of tea.

Yes, fabulous diving indeed. A favorite place of mine was a wall just across from God's Pocket. But, like you folks, there comes a time when it seems prudent to give it up.
