The weather is holding

With the brakes fixed and the 19 freshly waxed, and next week still looking dry, I will take the trailer out for a run down to Three Rivers, CA outside Sequoia NP next week.

Boy, I sometimes wished I lived out west, the dreary days in the East in the winter are depressing. But in 3 more weeks I'll at least have a hobby I can work on….

It's been years since I've been in Kings Canyon and Sequoia. We'll have to check out the Tree Rivers area next time we're down that way.

Yes, the weather is holding here too. In fact, we're camping on the coast in Santa Barbara for Thanksgiving. Not trying to rub it in, of course ;-)!

I am planning to hit Morro Bay on the way back. I was there two weeks ago on the motorcycle, but I think I will go again. I was thinking Morro Dunes RV park. Stayed there once before.

We used to love driving over to Morro Bay when we lived in Bakersfield.

We will be staying in Morro Bay at the Morro Dunes campground during Thanksgiving week. It is a great time of year for camping there; barbequed oysters on the waterfront, fresh fish from the harbor for fish tacos later at camp, fly fishing the surf for halibut, hiking the beach to Cayucos pier, wine tasting everywhere, love it! The State Park is really nice also.
