trip planning....

I started to plan our trip out west and then north to Osoyoos and I'm given at least 2-3 routes or alternate routes. But each one has all of these little warning triangles, construction zones. All of the routes involve I70 or I40 or I80 or I90 with these construction delays. I hate sitting in traffic. Is there some sort of APP or other website with up to date, current construction delays. I realize some are only at night and or days so I can work around those. What does everyone else use to avoid those 5 mile backups? Thanks for any ideas...

Sources of current information for various locations (states and provinces, mostly in the west due to the route being discussed) were mentioned in the latter half of From Chilliwack to Southern California.

TripCheck - Road Cams, Road & Weather Conditions in Oregon - ODOT
is the Oregon DOT site for road conditions. As you explore these sites,
you will find links to adjacent states' DOT and road condition sites.
For instance, Oregon has links to CA, WA, ID, and NV:
TripCheck - Road Cams, Road & Weather Conditions in Oregon - ODOT

Some even access adjacent state's highway cams.

Waze app is a live iinformation feed from other drivers. It's a 21 century CB radio with unlimited distance and GPS.
