could very well have been a blue angel their winter training base is in El Centro, Ca
Fun to watch

Do I dare mention the time a Blue Angle flew between 2 buildings in downtown Seattle? I was on the 29th floor and could almost count the rivets as he flew by.

Do I dare mention the amount of fuel one of those aircraft burn in an hour?
We have the Snowbirds up here.
It's just tax dollars.

I only pose questions, I have no answers.
I gather the rationale for the Blue Angels and the Snowbirds is building morale, and in accomplishing that, it's cost effective.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police has their Musical Ride, but near as I can tell horses are lousy at bombing raids.

Enjoy the Snowbirds while you can. The newest of their Tutors are 49 years old. I'm surprised they're stll able to keep some of the aircraft sufficiently operable; they are expensive enough to operate that last year their season was cut short, with no shows in the U.S. Although CF-18 are now used for some demonstration flights, I would be surprised if they are ever used for the sort of formation work that the Snowbirds do... up to nine aircraft at a time. The currect trainer (Hawk) would be better suited to low-speed displays, but I would be surprised if we leased those just for an aerobatic team.

Burro for sure... must have been one of the last ever made, looks like a California wide body... 17 or 19 'm guessing. Had Nevada plates.

I think you're right, a 19' wide body. Here's one of a 17' wide body and you can see their's less trailer forward of the access panels:

I had never heard of a Burro 19' (which doesn't mean anything - I'm no Burro expert) but the looks like the same length as the 17' example to me. The angle of view shows some of the front which make the body appear longer, but judging from the front marker light position (which should be and appears to be as far forward as possible while still being before the corner curve) they seem like the same length to me.

Anyway, interesting coincidence, given the rarity of both trailers!

Could be, Brian. The one in Myron's pic is showing some of it's front, which threw me off.

I had a Burro 14, it morphed into a Casita that with a little water and fertilizer turned into an Escape 19. Burro was ok but I can see why they went away. Very spartan inside and the vertical seam was very strange.
