We didn't have a problem with the dogs at the border in Sumas. We had their registrations and rabies shots and something the vet called a certificate of health, but we crossed there and back without ever being asked for any paperwork on the dogs. It was very uneventful.

The only thing we were asked about on the way back was citrus. Apparently you can't bring citrus from the US into Canada and then back.

Thanks to all for their input. I wasn't worried, but it's better to ask and be sure if ya can. First trip to Canada and should be fun.

Best selling beer in Canada is Budweiser; McDonalds and Starbucks everywhere, so you can't get homesick. Gas stations and grocery stores might have unfamiliar names, but they are all still filled with Kraft Foods products.
In the morning, my wife watches the Today show or WDIV Detroit television news, or KTLA.
You'll only be shocked by the gas prices.

It'll be like visiting a friendly neighbor. Looks like Tim Horton has a lot of places around Chilliwack and may check it out. Hopefully the gas prices will be lower than California.

If you walk from Tim Horton's to ETI, your coffee will have cooled enough to drink.

It's going to be hard to tow the trailer home if you walk.
