Vancouver, BC to Disneyland
Brainstorming about a potential trip from Vancouver, BC to Disneyland in March-ish with a little guy (6). Will have up to 6 days +/- to get there, and the same to return. Thought it might be nice for the little guy if we take our time, and have some layovers, so he isn't stuck in the car for too many hours every day. Any suggestions for routes/attractions? (Admittedly, a 6 yr old is probably more interested in action than sightseeing.)
We like camping and swimming at lakes, but I would guess that March is too early for that even in CA. Hoping to avoid buying winter tires, but they may be inevitable. I like the coast highway a lot, but it may be a little heavy on scenery and driving time for a little guy.
