Victoria, B.C. RV park

Pix of West Bay Marine Village in Victoria BC.
We were not on waterfront ( see pic 3 - on the left ). Full service $42 a night ( more on water ), including cable. WiFi extra ( although I'm on Shaw so had a free hot spot ). Showers extra.
Water pressure was very low.
Harbour ferry to downtown Victoria costs $10 and takes 20 minutes.
There are public areas with benches so you don't have to walk through somebody's campsite.

We stayed here after picking up the 17 two years ago. We found it nice, had a waterfront space, but we were parked between two huge motorhomes, felt like being in canyon. We used the water taxis a couple of times to hit town. Great little cafe there.

Do you take the ferry to get there?

Oh yes you do. Cost $191 ( which included $15 reservation fee ) for 34' of trailer and tow. Of course, a hotel room downtown would be $200 ( I'm guessing ). RV site almost downtown was $42. We were there three nights and then moved up island where we stayed overnight on my buddy's driveway for free. Then $156 to get home ( seniors pay half price mid-week so we saved $16 there and we didn't reserve ).
You would want to look up Black Ball which runs from Victoria to Anacortes ( I think ) for the return trip home.
Pic of my trailer in my buddy's front yard. ( back yard is also water view ).

Nice buddy! Looks like fun. How old do I have to be to get the senior discount 55 or 65? I spent some time in Victoria at a horse show once we had a blast. Would like to go back.

Actually the Black Ball ferry goes from Victoria to Port Angeles, WA, which is on the Olympic Peninsula near Olympic National Park and quite a ways from Anacortes (in travel time) over on the "mainland" of Washington state.

Senior is 65. Seniors used to be free midweek, but now half price.
