Pedder Bay and Sooke potholes, Vancouver Island

Park at Pedder Bay - view from my back window, except that my thermal pane seal has gone, so pic is from outside :-) And, a pic from the Sooke potholes. Definitely worth taking a bike and cycling out the Galloping Goose to have a look.

First night in new trailer

Picked up our 5.0 TA last Tuesday. [Its name is still pending]

Camped two nights at Deception Pass State Park, north end of Whidbey Island, WA, on our way to the Seattle area.

A turkey wandered by our back window at our campground a few minutes ago.

Hi Ruthe, it's called Lakeview Terrace Mobile Home and RV Park, just outside of Grand Coulee WA. Passport America rate was $17.50.

And wow, just now as I was replying to your post, several deer approached me. I guess they feed them in the park and they expected some food.

Bishop Creek

We enjoyed a long weekend camping and fishing with our friends on Bishop Creek at about the 8200 ft. elev.
Here is the view standing outside our back window:

Bishop Creek is to the right about 25 ft.
Yes! Fresh trout dinner for 4, two nights in a row. What could be better. (Oh Yeah; campfire peach cobbler in the dutch oven one night, and berry cobbler the next for dessert.)

Wow. Sounds great. We tried to catch some trout in the Rio Bonito near Ruidoso, but I'm a terrible fisherman.

We just returned from 10 days fishing at Fawn Lake Resort, B.C. Fishing was good, but the scenery, wildlife and birds made it an even better adventure. Here are several views out our rear 21's rear window and an artsy shot my wife took of the same scene reflecting off our trailer's shiny side.

Not so much this resort. There are other lakes with bigger fish and with forest service campsites that I don't share info on or else I won't get in and the lakes will be cleaned out.

Deschutes River State park in Oregon. Spent the night on 6/20/2016 heading back east on our maiden voyage. Pleasantly surprised how nice it was and just off I84. Great for a quick overnight.
