Indeed, Here we are on the Granby river in BC Canada. Actually we are at the confluence of the Granby and Gable Creek. Pic 527 is the mountains around us and we are on the right edce of the pic. Pic 494 is a close up of our site on the Granby river. These days and at that site the fridge runs on solar all day. The inflow of the gable is just below the bridge in the bottom of the picture. Small world with two Granby's in it.

Vancouver Island June 2017
June 2017, 22 nights out at 9 campgrounds. Lots of beautiful sights and pictures.
We especially enjoyed Qualicum First Nations Campground with our beachside site.
That is an eagle hanging out behind our trailer at Qualicum First Nations CG, thanks Glenn Bagglo for recommending it to us.
Alder Bay RV Resort had eagles also, But one highlight was an ocean liner passing by us.

My father took me and my friend camping there back in the late 50s/early 60s, when it was called the Wharton Tract. Very enjoyable, especially sitting around the campfire telling stories about the Jersey Devil.

Hi, Steve. We were in the exact same spot a couple of weeks ago! Here's out of the back window of our Escape 17. Unfortunately, weather wasn't the best when we were there, but it was beautiful anyway!

Took the river shot from near where we parked the trailer for day use.

Good morning Ross, thanks for the Hoopa Indian reservation campground mini review.
Will certainly add to our growing list of places to visit. Checked out their website and it looks great. Thanks

Redwood State Park
Hello Santiago!
Very nice people there; Inker (nickname from childhood L'il Stinker) is the man there and is super friendly and knowledgeable of the history & customs of the tribe.
Be sure to drive on down to the river for a day spot; truly unique.
First photo down at the Trinity River; second is at top of Bald Hill Road.

Speaking of Indian Reservations- anyone visiting Flathead Lake should check out the Blue Bay on Flathead Lake Montana. Way better than Finley Point with the Cool Hand Luke Warden Camphost.

Burnt Ranch BLM Campground on John Day River in OR
We had this beautiful spot to ourselves after visiting the Painted Hills. The access road was steep and rough and required 4WD in one spot on the way out due to loose rock and poor tires.

Spent the weekend up the rim country of Arizona. Felt good to get out of the Phoenix heat and into the pine trees.

Not out my back window, but this guy or gal decided to find some shade under my trailer. At Oasis State Park, New Mexico.

What's Out Your Back Window?
Derby Reach Regional Park about 30 minutes from ETI. No reservations. Show up on a Monday to get a space, or you might get lucky on Tuesday morning.
