We were in C007. No hookups. All the loops are really small circles so there’s hardly a bad site. There’s plenty of space between sites. It’s an ideal setup. I wish more Campgrounds used this design.

Yes. I really enjoy the San Eligo CG. I fly RC gliders at Torrey Pines Gliderport which is only about 5 miles south of the CG. Check it out. They also have a great sandwich shop right on the cliff, and it's fun to watch the paraglider & hang gliders (and fly my RC gliders).

Also, there's a good coffee shop in Encintes, just north of the CG with free, unlimited wifi.

San Elijo is one of our favorite campgrounds, but is it tough to get a reservation. We got a drive up one time waiting in line. They turned away about 30 in front of us and when we pulled to the window a trailer was leaving 3 days early at the exit. They just handed their site right across the window to us. No one else got in that day. Great place if you get a spot.

We have had some luck at nearby South Carlsbad state beach. I have not stayed at San Elijo yet but I think they are similar.

Great site. Love the patio, and the view is to die for. Is the trailer pad gravel?

The east Coastline site 1. Checked the St George Island State Park this morning. That campground is in the plan down the road. Love Apalachicola. Very old Florida. The State Park beach was almost deserted

It is gravel and very level. For four days at this place I could spend at least three weeks at a COE site on a lake. My wife read a book about Apalachicola got into the Good Sam guide and told me she wanted to stay here. Eight hours of driving

Coastline RV Resort east of Eastpoint They have two campgrounds less than a half mile apart on 98. We’re in the east one The other one is larger and has it’s own restaurant but I I prefer this one🙂

We finally made it to Muley Point in southern Utah. Didn't get to camp there this time but it's on our list, the road wasn't bad at all. Mary just had to get a closer look over the edge...

You know there is a large crack that separates that boulder your wife is kneeling on from the rest of that cliff! Looks like the whole thing is just waiting to tumble down into the valley.

I knew that looked familiar. Very close to Moki Dugway. Quite a "road" pulled my 19' boat down that thing back in the "80s", quite an experience. Originally built to haul uranium oar. Some of the trucks that crashed over the side are still there.
