I followed a Coors tractor trailer up the Moki in the morning and another tractor trailer down that afternoon. By the time I reached the bottom the tractor trailer was at least a half mile ahead

If you come back to Eastpoint in the spring you can attend the Sopchoppy Worm Gruntin' Festival nearby.

Hey Mike We both really have enjoyed this visit and hope to return. Spring sounds good but I'm wondering if the "Worm Gruntin Ball" is black tie or could I just get by with a blazer?

I would rather go fishin than dancin. Just got a reservation at the St George Island SP for end of May. Place is booked solid until then. May do a little fishin.

Hats off to brave Mary! I get vertigo just looking at her crouched there!

I don't know-- I've yet to attend the festival. My camera club was nearby at Wakulla Springs Lodge during the weekend of the festival one year, so I should have stopped in. BTW- the lodge is another part of Old Florida that is worth visiting. Manatees live in the spring as it is warm enough for them year-round.

Here's a sunbather on the dock at Wakulla Springs Lodge.

....and probably as slick as ice. They've got an interesting mix of clay and gravel on that road but at least they grade it regularly. The road is friendlier when dry, but we did loose our sewer hose. I've since put a biner on one end of the storage pipe and a zap strap on the other. You must have taken the ferry from Port Hardy to Bella Coola. How was that?

Congratulations on the SGI reservation. We have learned to get into that SP you almost need to make your reservation 11 months out. We will be there the 17th of October, and then again in late January just before Scampcamp at Sebring, FL.

Thanks If it had not been for your recommendation I would not have known about the place
We have a bald eagle nesting just down 98 and I get to watch it over the sound.
Sunrise over the sound this morning

The red cliffs of Torrey, Utah from our campsite at Thousand Lakes RV Park. We've stayed here many times over the years and this view is hard to beat. But our 5.0TA makes boondocking so easy that now we tend to look at commercial RV parks as a once-a-week or so stop for laundry and try to camp in more remote, quiet secluded spots as much as we can.

David- same here. We thought we would stop in at Ridgway SP near here, yet you HAVE to call an 800# first to reserve- which is new since last here. So we said boo and came here. Use laundry at River Edge motel & cabins in town. $12 here(w/geezer vs. $40 @ SP.

Another campground for my list, thanks! 🌻 I loaded up my 17B for boondocking, so why pay more for what I'd generally prefer to do without? (wall-to-wall RVs) Your photos and David's are so lovely! Can't wait to get out there - less than a month away now!
