The iDevices add data to the photo to keep them horizontal unless you first put them through software on your computer that strips that data off the file.

If you want to upload photos directly from your iDevice and have them show up oriented properly remember to always shoot in Landscape orientation. The easy way to remember which way is Landscape, it's the same way as a TV or movie screen. Hold your device horizontally and your photo will show up properly.

It's not exactly out the back window since I need to back the trailer into the trees; but you get the idea.

Our Escape 19 found it's way home. It got an itty bit dirty; but cleaned up nicely. The white stuff under the tree is what you'd think, it's not quite camping season in CO, yet.

I was thinking the same thing Jim. I think I could driveway camp if Ten Forward was parked in such a great place

Some buy an Escape trailer, and set out on a drive of maybe 1000 miles to see what you have out your window. Wow.

(On reflection, I can see the Pacific Ocean by driving a couple of miles, and I've see photos posted on this forum of scenes I recognized instantly as being close by on the Ventura County coast), so I guess it's all relative.)

Hole in the Wall

Last week we were in the Mojave Desert for two nights. Will definitely return some time. Stunning scenery. From there we went on to the Grand Canyon, Phoenix, California coast and then back up I5 to Surrey.

I have a great view of the swamp. It can be quite beautiful at certain times of the year.

Currently in Palm Springs after a long, long drive. Here for a few days visiting friends, then up to Laughlin for a week.

I think this thread was meant for shots while camped, not on the run, Dave.

Hi Dave,

This was part of a whirl wind trip to Palm Springs/Laughlin/Las Vegas. We stayed at the AVI KOA just outside of Laughlin for a few days. Was hoping to set up at Telephone Cove on Mohave Lake but we got too comfortable. Wife ran the Laughlin 1/2 marathon, I did support.
Temps for the most part were in the low to mid 30's (Celsius), started thinking I should trade up to a newer model with air.... Cooled off comfortably close to sunset though and was good until late morning. No bugs, the desert is in bloom. Soaked in a few hot springs on the way down and on the way back. All good!
I am presenting at a conference in Boise in a few weeks, think I will bring the trailer back down with me and catch a few days on either side of the conference.

Rick

A few photos of our weekend at the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor (north end). There's a very small RV area (full hookups) but no restrooms or showers unless you're a moorage customer. The dogs love their walks in Arana Gulch Open Space and along the harbor. Plus, you're within walking distance of a number of restaurants - a few of which allow dogs on the patio.

Okay, so these aren't out the back or front windows. They're from the side but good views nonetheless.

One from Bay Shore State Park [the second pic] and the other from Wanapum State Park, both in WA, on our return trip from Chilliwack.

All these posts about pets reminded me that I meant to post this site: Pet Friendly Hotels | Pet Friendly Travel | GoPetFriendly.com. While it's definitely doesn't include everything, it's interesting and even has a simple trip planner.

Spent a night in that marina a few years ago. Beautiful little spot. Believe the marina was heavily damaged after we had stayed there due to a quake but it has been repaired since then.
