Alabama Hills

Looks like the Alabama Hills and the Eastern Sierra with Lone Pine Peak on the right. Mt. Whitney is out of the picture to the right.

yup where we camped a couple nights ago, on our way home from Death Valley NP...

following night we were on the Kern River just north of Kernville, I didn't get a 'window' picture, but this was right next to our campsite...

Congrats on getting out of Dodge, and finishing up your taxing tax time.
Skiing, I trust?
And behave yourself, this time!

Must be getting close to delivery ………… or waiting for an awning?!! Certainly hoping it’s the former, and that you get your trailer soon.

Looks like you went with the chinchilla ultra leather fabric. We did too. Looks great.

Waiting to get paired up with another trailer to Texas......

Had a few "adjustments" that had to be addressed - believe all is good to go now.

Whidbey Island Naval Air Station

Spent the past several days at Whidbey Island Naval Air Station MWR Cliffside campground. If you are active or retired Department of Defense you can stay here and it is one of the best RV campgrounds in the MWR system.

Agree! We have stayed there twice after taking delivery of our new Escape. It may bother some people but I love the sound of the Navy jets in the pattern.

mmm, we'll have to keep that in mind when we're up that way... Fiddlers Cove MWR camp on Coronado (San Diego) was one of cleanest camps I've ever stayed at. My wife is a disabled vet, so we have the privilege of staying at MWR's.
