You take better shots with your 10 year old pre-paid phone than I do with my Fuji XT-3 and the $2,500 of lenses I carry in my bag.

A couple images David took of our trailer.

Nice - what is that a 21 or 24 inch Dob? I figure it is a least that big with that large ladder in the background.

It is a 20" f/5... 7' ladder so kids can reach the eyepiece, which can be as high as 8' off the ground with the scope near zenith....

Hey John - Some of the DOD campgrounds are quite popular, and I suspect this is one of them. Did you have to book the site far in advance? How is the camping area? Curious, as we may be heading down that way in January. We will be stopping in Port Hueneme for sure, so this may be a good stop after that on the way to AZ.

Fiddlers Cove is very popular for good reason.... My wife is the vet, she calls early and calls weekly if she doesn't get what she wants it's a 2.5 mile bike ride on a wide level path to the middle of Coronados tourist district.

Today is extremely windy, that's unusual.

Nearing the end of our big trip, woke up this morning to a winter wonderland in Taos. Not a travel day so we can sleep in, make pancakes, and enjoy the view.

Valley of the Gods, Also called "Lady in a Bathtub" in addition to Balanced Rock. This was from the back window. Southeastern Utah just south of Cedar Mesa and Bears Ears National Monument and a Little north of Monument Valley. The site was 5.8 miles from the west entrance to Valley of the Gods. While I was there I had the only trailer on the west side of the Valley.
