Wow, Tom, whatever job you have I'll pass. Worked for myself for 20 years and only have issues with myself being grumpy some days.

Our site at St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. Our favorite gulf-front campground. (The picture is a little weird because it's a less-than-perfect composite of two pictures.)

First Night on nearly the longest night.

Sparkly crispy snow for our first night in our new trailer at Deer Lake Lakeside campground in Sasquatch Provincial Park-30 min north east of Chilliwack BC. The heater worked perfectly.

Try the pix again.

How to add photos to a post

Click reply and scroll down to bottom of text box.
  • Click "go advanced" add text to message window and then scroll down.
  • Click "Manage attachments" A separate window will pop up.
  • Click "browse" Then select the file to be uploaded. Be sure that the photo is appropriately sized. 1000 x 1000 pixels (or smaller) and no more than 50K. Forums software will automatically reduce the size, but smaller size photos will upload much faster. You may select several photos to upload at the same time by repeating the last step.
  • Click "Upload" After pics have loaded close the pop-up window
  • Click "submit reply" to mount the text of your message - photos will automatically appear at the bottom of your post.
I do it slightly differently. I click on Go Advanced and then on the Paper Clip icon at the top of the message box. That brings up the Uploading Window. Click on Browse. Find the picture in your computer. Click Open. Click Upload ( or open up to four and then click Upload ). And then wait until the message "Uploading" goes away. Then hit Submit.

I usually put the pic for uploading on my Mac desktop so it is easy to find.

Thanks gbaglo! BUT... I've done all these steps..but nothing happens. I have no boxes labled "browse" once I click 'manage attachments", but do get a list. From my mac DESKTOP I select the photo I want. I click. Nothing happens.

thanks, I tried again using the paper clip route, but when I left my computer to give the photo loading time, the photo had not been put on my post. I'll try again tomorrow. Maybe its a sunday thing- web really busy.

When you go to manage attachments, you are then choosing a file and a photo, and then hit upload and wait for it to finish. Maybe it is taking time loading.

When you selected the photo, did you then click 'Open' ?

As Baglo has explained, you shouldn't need to resize them.

If you choose to, the method would depend on what software you are using to manage photos. The default for Macs is iPhoto, and iPhoto lets you save photos in various sizes. Just be careful to make a resized copy, rather than replacing your original image.
