Glenn actually doesn't look too bad . I was coming and going so I was picky for one night . When I left State Camground in Oregon ended up at a marina with full hookups that at that time ended up being free . Stayed for 3 days it was so nice . I am sure next time it won't be free though . Office was closed and no one to collect . I was very willing to pay someone . There were lots of us . Want to stay in Long beach , Ca at a campground within walking distance of lots . So not totally against if that is what I am looking for . Actually Casino's are pretty good deal too I found on last trip . Pat

Nothing like a power-nap before Happy Hour ($1 drafts and $1 wings).

Jim, I can't wait! I'm expecting factory pictures any time now. We're using a spare room to store supplies and I use my spare time looking at State Parks. My wife says I'm obsessed.
She might be right!

As to why some folks voluntarily pack themselves in -- not everyone is looking for nature -- Sometimes people just want to be with their friends with full hookups and a pool and playground for the kids. Or they want to be near the water -- the place we stayed on Lake Huron last summer had people crammed in, but even the camper the furthest away from the beach was only a couple minutes away. Like Donna said, no matter where you go, if you have your trailer, you're in your own bed (and no fear of bedbugs

I thought I had completed a reservation, but when I arrived they had no record of the reservation (probably my fault). They found a spot for us even though the sign at the camp ground entrance said "Campground Full". The units are packed together tighter than I have ever seen. The campground is undergoing renovation, and the washers and dryers are currently sitting outside the laundromat which is getting a new floor. The showers are a "work in progress". But on the bright side we did find a laundromat down the road, and I got several trailer chores done, including installing a new carrier for the sewer hose (the hinge on the end cap broke), make some adjustments to the towing mirrors, and tighten/replace a few screws. We are on to Montana de Oro State Park (thanks Ross!). So the back window views will improve.

Leon, I think we picked up our 5.0ta the same day that you got your 21. Today the second end cap hinge broke on our sewer hose. Is this a common problem, or was something messed up the day our two sewer hoses were installed?

Excellent! Have camped in the valley for years, but now, reservations May-Sept are next to impossible. You might have snow on the ground Have a great time and if you have trail access, "Take a Hike" !

Gee, those look oddly familiar😃 Glad someone has made awnings! How are they working for you?? I tried to post my plans in the document section but no luck so far. Am going to have to have a moderator do that for me so the plans are readily available for others.

The last couple years we have been fortunate with spring reservations. Both times We arrived on the day they were opening the road to Glacier point! (Due to the drought ) we have not had luck with reservations for this summer. Last summer we had a great site on the Merced River - but it was so crowded we left early, we were over run by people wading in what water was left in the river!

Hi Tim,
They work great - it's amazing how keeping the sun off the windows helps cool the trailer.... Plus, I got a new toy to play with - a Sailrite Ultrafeed
It came in handy when I altered our Patty O' Room too.
Thanks for the workshop at Bandon last year.

Hi techfan and paulw... I knew I saw awnings somewhere on the forum before. They look great! Do either of you have closeup photos of the awnings or a list of what you used to attach to the trailer and purchase info by chance? I'd love to make a few awnings for our 5.0TA.
Thanks so much.
Lucy
