Hi Tim,
They work great - it's amazing how keeping the sun off the windows helps cool the trailer.... Plus, I got a new toy to play with - a Sailrite Ultrafeed
It came in handy when I altered our Patty O' Room too.
Thanks for the workshop at Bandon last year.

Hi techfan and paulw... I knew I saw awnings somewhere on the forum before. They look great! Do either of you have closeup photos of the awnings or a list of what you used to attach to the trailer and purchase info by chance? I'd love to make a few awnings for our 5.0TA.
Thanks so much.

I have a complete set of plans that I developed and printed in pdf format. I used that to do a workshop at Bullard's Beach last year and gave out the directions. Paul and Norma were there and used those to make their own and they did a beautiful job. I have been trying to upload the same file but do not have "permission" so working on that with a moderator. When I get them up, they will be in the file section. If you can't wait, send me a pm with your email and I will email them to you. (We can't do attachments through the pm system, so I need your email address.) Also, if you search for "Recent Mods" you will find much of the info and some closeups.

AWNINGS - do them yourself
Anyone who wants to make awnings can get the pdf file from me. Send me a PM with your email and I will send the directions to you. (Attachments can't be added to the PM so I will need your email to send the pdf file.)

Thanks Tim, I will send you a PM with our email address. Thanks so much. It would be great to have them made and packed for when we take off on our next adventure!

I totally agree Donna, and actually the worst part of the KOA was the showers. But hey, we have one inside our trailer! And it is clean!
Just after the KOA, we went to Montana De Oro State Park, where we met Ross and Susan (aka "Rosssue"), and spent a wonderful day in a primo campsite that Ross secured for us. Had a great time meeting and talking to them. This is the view from our back window at Montana De Oro:

My ears are turning red. Very glad to have met Leon & Lindy and tour their 21. Although they picked up a week or two after we did they wasted no time in doing some nice mods. Gotta get off the dime!
Site 40 at the campround is at the very back which is nice but also is such that you can level up without unhitching.

I don't know if Tim made the announcement, but his PDF for the DIY awnings has been uploaded to the document center: http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/do...?do=file&id=54

Thanks for the hot link, Donna, and Tim, for a really first class presentation for a great mod. I need this.

Not correct. Apple MOBILE products only do one picture. Desktop is fine.

So, you say I am not correct, but that I am correct.\, because I am going to assume the Apple MOBILE products are still Apple products, correct?
Whoa, that is a lot of "corrects" in one short post. LOL

I spent many Summer's sleeping in a canvas cabin tent from Woolworths at that park. They used to have one of oldest Oak trees in the US there. And best of all, there was a girl that worked at the surf shop at the pier that went topless with the exception of two stars to keep her from being indecent. We caught and ate a lot of bluefish from that pier. My o' my how times have changed.

And I always thought Canadians were better with the English language than most of us south of the border. The way you wrote your statement implies ALL Apple products when that is clearly not the case. Only a subset of Apple products poses a problem. The reason I felt a need to correct you is, that as a moderator, you should be helping to clarify how the site works and why newbies might be having problems not generally labeling a whole brand as a problem. Sorry, I stand by my statement, in this RARE case, you are not correct.

Actually you are not correct as Jim B is not a moderator on this forum, he is over on FGRV, but not here.

Somebody should make Jim Bennett a moderator, since he keeps getting accused of being one.
