Greg,
Come to think of it, there was a little Scamp close to the site where I was at. I just asked them if I could take their picture but did not exchange names.

If they're still around you need to go meet them, wonderful couple that basically full-time 1/2 the year in the 13 Scamp. Ask about their yellow highlight road atlas travel method.....

I happened on to a rally of sorts at Pokagon State Park in Indiana last weekend. It was 5 Westfalia VWs and a 4wd VW van. They were camped in a regular loop. The pads had been plowed, there was 7 inches of snow on the ground. I took their picture after asking if it was ok and giving any post office poster boys a chance to turn around.

Eric,
How do you like the Highlander by now? How's the hitch setup working?. We had some snow here yesterday, just trying to make you feel better.

What's Out Your Back Window?

Love the Highlander as a tow. Much more comfortable ride than the Tacoma. Hitch setup got tested in 40-50 mph side and headwind gusts. They moved the whole rig around a bit but not a hint of sway so my slightly nose up on the Escape seems fine. Finally got a non-headwind day and got 18mpg, may have been a slight tailwind. 30 mph headwinds dropped us to only 11 mpg. One steep pass up and down on the way to White Sands was no problem but then I don't drive 75 mph over mountains.

I think I saw 2 other Escapes here in Gilbert Ray, I'll have to walk around when it cools down a bit

Lost Dutchman State Park

Was here for two nights this week, apparently just missed seeing an escape, whose was it I wonder. Did see 3 Casitas, a Scamp, a Boler, and a Bigfoot in the campground though.

Nice, Adrian!

My darn phone wanted to call you Asian, though you certainly seemed not to be when I met you.

Adrian, sent you a message today, probably messed it up somehow. Anyway, sign us up for Manitoba in August, near you and the beer. The AC will be on in the 19 if needed. Burned our prairie today, hopefully as close to hell as I'll ever get. Burned hot

Trimble County Park

We recently spent a week at this small park near Mt. Dora, Florida.

Beautiful sunset on the small lake directly behind our campsite.
