Nice one Alf- good way to escape that remodel, eh? Am about to break a self-imposed ban against summer camping 'cause I just can't stands it no more!

Whaddaya mean, I bet Alf wants nothing more than to sit in it and enjoy.

A guy has to camp in the summer too, just needs to be more selective on where to go to avoid the multi-family places. If you come up here, I know a place.

Alf,
Teresa and Todd have had their boler out twice and brought it to Iowa over the fourth for us to see. We put a new floor in it and planned for the future. 59 bottles of beer worth of planning in three days. They had commitments for the boler rally weekend and couldn't make it
but are all stoked up for the Falls.'
Hope your contractor has double clutched and slid that kitchen renovation into top gear.
Dave & Rita

Wow Alf that kitchen looks great, just wish we were going to your rally now since we thought we might come boondock chez vous on the way to Miss.

Good thing we cancelled our plans anyway, even the MB rally looks it might be a stretch. I'm getting a new mitral valve for the ticker on Tuesday now.

Hi: emers382... Sure wish you the best with your "Valve job"!!! I'm down to my last 23 months for my pace maker. Then I have to get a replacement put in. I guess it's a good thing to wear one or more out!!!
Isn't technology wonderful? Alf

Even though Yosemite is one of most crowded places, you can still find stillness. View of the granite above our site, Yosemite mountain climbers giving an informative discussion and a quite hike to Mirror Lake.

Lac Le Jeune, near Kamloops BC. The view wasn't spectacular, but it was framed a little differently

Try to go to Yosemite when there is a full moon, the rangers put on a show under the moon light, quite interesting.

Thanks Jim, They are wonderful Rangers and truly feel blessed to be assigned such a wonderful place. We have attended many interpreted talks and walks by the Rangers, but not the Full Moon presentation. We will have to make it a point!

Yes--agreed! When we toured the valley a few years ago, El Capitan was glowing in the moonlight and we could see the headlights of the mountain climbers.

This year, it was delightful to see the waterfalls again after four years of drought. It was a challenge getting camping reservations, but our dates were flexible and we enjoyed our week!
