Are you not a bit late with that one Alf, it's been a week or so since you were there right? I'd hoped to do the Natchez on the way down here but will have to wait until another time. Today was not too pleasant here in GA - windy, sunny, but only hit 13 or 14C. Well, much better than at home.

Hi: emers382... Speaking of hits!!! We hit a mile stone on the way to Percy Quin St. Pk. Shows you can tow a 5.0TA with a light duty 1/2 ton PU. Alf

Good on you 160,000 km on that Frontier, but I hope you weren't doing nearly 120km/h towing! Are you still looking at getting an F150?

Sure Alf, beef up that rear bumper on the TA and you could put a tow bar on the F150 so you’d have a spare rig to run to town and a place to haul Yuengling. The Fronty would be up to it! Jacking doubles is better than sleeping single in a double bed.

Hi: emers382... Speed limit on I 55 was 70 mph and it was getting late even with an hour gain heading west.
F150's on the shelf and I'm on the fence again. Happened to get a look at a brand new wreck and the damage was enough to total it. The shop couldn't work on it any way as they didn't invest in the extra space for an aluminium only bay just for Fords, or the specialized tools required. His advice was to wait a few years to see how the paint jobs age!!! Alf

Well Alf I'm sure there's lots of life left in the Fronty yet! We're nearing 40000 on our 2015 F150 now. Lots more driving this trip - to Destin tomorrow, heading to Ottawa area on April 7, then time with family in S.ON, then Tbay, and eventually home, maybe without the trailer. Already have interest from GA, FL, Montreal, and a guy who lives 23 miles from me in ND.

Actually I do like it. Clean and modern and set back from the highway noise. Practically giving the pull through spot away at $20 night with winter discounts.

Funny enough, I need a muffler repair and thought of your axle adventure awhile ago. PM me if you two will be on this side of the Sierras in the coming weeks.

I _was_ trying to avoid snow altogether this trip but the forecast is for sun tomorrow.

What is outside my back window, at home, here in Smithers, BC, Canada? Would you believe about 60cm (2 feet) of snow, and more coming down all day so far.

If we had our 21 already, the better half would be packing for a trip south. Even as keen as she is about skiing, she has had enough.

We’re at Devils Lake State Park in Wisconsin. Cold and rainy day outside my back window, but right nowI can’t really complain about it.

The US may not be perfect, or even close. But it is one of the most blessed in terms of natural beauty and diversity. Thank you for the pictures

Every day we spend in the trailer on those rainy days, I try to remind myself how lucky we are to be warm, dry and comfortable; and not huddled in a tent like I spent most of my early decades doing whenever camping. Have a fine weekend enjoying yourselves.

Yep...years in various tents then 17 years in two different pop ups. Now were in the lap of luxury. Happy Easter.
