With the TV/Cable Ready with 120V Outlet option I've read that some swap out the 120v for 12v and then get a 12v TV. Good or bad move?

You can request and Escape will substitute 12v for 120v outlet, n/c. I did that on my 3 prior Escapes. But that means you will need a 12v television, which is very easy to find.

Thank you both for your input. Will go with a 12v TV with built in DVD player.

We got the Exterior 12V Outlet (installed near the exterior 120v outlet) on ours and love it. However, if I were doing it again, I would also get an extra 12 volt on the other side. That would come in handy when using our 12 volt compressor to air up the tires.

We did NOT get the electric jack option, but quickly grew tired of using the manual jack and installed the electric one. Hooking up the Equailizer hitch with sway control bars, that manual jack will wear you out trying to get the bars on and off

For my previous trailer, a 13' Scamp, I picked up an Ultimate Trailer Jack (

) and plan to install that once I get the Escape. Makes a tedious task nearly effortless.

Looks like a nicely equipped trailer. I would include a toilet shut off valve. We put our outside shower on the passenger side to do dishes and to rinse off our feet. I might get the inverter with transfer switch so you can run the microwave for a short time when off grid. Get as many options as you can afford up front. We spent $10,000 on options on our trailer and don’t regret it. I assume you don’t have covered storage so you’re getting the cover. The LED light strip is really cool. A light on the front of the trailer is nice too. We put an extra switch for the lights on the front and drivers side lights.so one is inside lights and another is for the porch light as well.
I don’t think I would get the frameless windows either, some people have had issues with them. Someone else can comment on that. They look nice though.
