Once we had a power surge and I had to replace all the landline telephones.
My question is... will the portable surgers that they sell at Camping World for about 90.00 be good enough? That is what we used on our Casita's and was recommended by Larry Gamble.
I understand that they work quite well. Some worry about theft, but I imagine that would be very rare.

One problem we discovered was that the slots in the cover's gasket weren't aligned with the weep holes in the window frame. This allowed runoff (rain) to partially fill the space between the window and cover. Not a great thing (promoted corrosion of the cover's latches, making them hard to open), so I took a knife to the gasket. Now it works like it should... But damage to the latches occurred and next up is a quest to replace those latch handles. May whittle something out of wood...
Ugh, we ordered this window. I like all the light I can get,
Is this still a problem with the new 2017?

I agree about extra outlets. We added a few including the ones mentioned here. Instead of adding outlets above the bed we added a 120 and and a 12v to the bed frame closest to the bathroom door. We also added a door on that same part, but there was room enough to stack these two outlets beside it. That way I can charge phone or computer while using them sitting up in bed. Or use a heating blanket without having a cord dangling over my head

If you're asking what we got, I could tell ya, but it won't do ya any good as ETI has said they won't install our sink any longer. Nathan got his installed first (but we purchased first! ) and then ours later in the year. I don't know if anyone else did in between. Someone tried to get the same one after we got our trailer and ETI said they wouldn't install it - something to do with the underneath area or hose hook ups or some such. I just know I was thrilled they put ours in as I absolutely love it. Ours is a black Blanco Diamond bar sink and a Blanco Junior pull-out faucet in matching black.

I've attached a photo of the kitchen counter, both before and after the Peel & Stick was applied. I don't have any closer shots of the sink. Oh, and the blue screw covers replacing the boring (to me!) tan ones they install.

The issue with the portable units is clearance. Some power pedestals are too low to the ground making use of the portable unit impossible to use.

Here is the one Dave found without the separate readout. At Amazon it is only $190. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...bhz_bw_c_x_2_w

Hee, hee, hee, Brenda. I thought of you when I posted those photos.

There are a few bits that I need to use a dab of superglue on, but they're mostly bits that I cut out of the main piece to fill in a gap (which will make sense once you start applying yours). I'm waiting for warmer weather to do that. Other than those bits, the rest is staying on just fine.

I think you succeeded. The clouds, the trailer and especially the bird! Nice.

Love the peel & stick, did you apply directly to the vinyl? AND where did you purchase the blue screw covers, we hope to replace these as soon as possible....the tan isn't pretty...

Thanks

I just spray-painted my caps to match my laminate and they turned out fine.

I bought nail polish, black to match counter. However, after we got ours I decided I like the brown to kind of accent the counter and carry over the wood from cabinets.
