Do you use a hair dyer or blender in your rig? Did you get a 12 volt TV or better yet one that runs on both?

the oven makes a great toaster replacement we don't toast sliced bread that often even at home, we're more likely to be heating stuff in the toaster oven, like cheese melts, bagels, breakfast munchies like scones, etc. the Escape's oven works quite nicely for this.

The rally was the inaugural trip with our new lightweight cheap toaster and boy did it perform nice on my inverter. No more dried out toast from the stove top toaster. Lisa balked at getting one at first, but after using it, is now a convert.

Inverters
We decided that we could buy a small inverter and hook it up easy peasy .By the time you buy a pure sign inverter and do the wiring and hassel of doing it .I would buy the 1500 inverter from ETI
BTW we wanted to be able to use a microwave ,cpap machine ,hair dryer,tv. when and if we boondock .So we had ETI run a 12 ga wire from microwave cabinet to the battery box and I installed a 2000watt inverter .It runs the microwave or tv ,cpap,or hair dryer no problem .By having this wire done by ETI I put in another elec box so If we have 110 power we use the ETI elec box if boondocking we use the one that connects to the inverter .
Also we bought a 600watt microwave for $60.00 and place it in the cabinet and use the space behind for more storage . Jim from Naples

I didn't get the inverter option or the microwave for my new 21'. As I understand it, the cabinet where the optional factory microwave goes comes with a 120V outlet with or without the microwave option. I think when the trailer is plugged into shore power, that plug gets 120V's. I think I'm right, hope I'm right, can anyone verify. Thanks

We do not have an inverter and personally I never miss it except when I can’t use my blow dryer to dry my hair.

Yes, regardless of whether you have an inverter the plug will have shore power 120V. If you have an inverter there will be a transfer switch. The plug can be powered by shore power or the inverter, but not both at once. You select the power source as required.
