We are finalizing our 21 build sheet due in a couple weeks and I have a few questions to run by everyone.

Does anyone have pictures of the new stove? I don't remember seeing them in the thread. I believe the new stock option is 2 burner, what 3 burner options without an oven would escape be willing to put in?

Pros/cons on the foot flush toilet, is this like a boat where you have to pump the lever to flush?

Where is the low pressure propane connect or do I specify it?

For the inverter we need to do the whole house option to use a microwave on batteries correct? We have a small child and want the option to use the micro for quick snacks when not plugged in.

Extra solar port, is there any way to use the standard AC in or 7 way for an external panel? how hard would this be to retrofit if I want it (we will have roof solar).

Can we add the storage box later if we are willing to drive to escape for pickup/install (we are close)

Under the edge of the trailer body, just ahead of the door... if specific position varies by model, maybe someone can clarify. The position is standard.

Not the AC power inlet, but the 7-way towing connector's battery charge terminal is connected to the battery without anything in the way other than a fuse... so you can connect your panel that way,

• if you have a charge controller on the panel or somewhere else before the towing connector, and
• if you don't mind the long run of wiring, and
• if you find two uncoordinated solar charge controllers acceptable.

I suggest putting in a port to connect the (unregulated) external panel output to the input of the trailer's solar charge controller.

Yes, I believe so, since the trailer is not constructed differently for the box.

I really like the idea of using the 7 pin connector as the solar port. One less ingress point for leaking and to maintain. I think from previous discussion that wire is now AWG 8 on the positive and essentially AWG 0000 on the negative since it uses the frame. I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I previously decided that AWG 10 would be sufficient from the roof based on some calculations, and I think there was enough leeway to have it work from the 7 pin. If you were thinking of something greater than 200 watts though you might want to take a more careful look.

No, you push down the pedal once to flush . It keeps you from having to lean over the toilet to flush and also is handy when you want to fill the black tank to flush it out.

Without the Transfer Switch and all 120V outlets option, only one outlet is connected to the inverter. That outlet would be powered ONLY by the inverter and would be dead when the trailer is plugged into 120v and the inverter off. I have the Transfer Switch and all 120V outlets option on my trailer. When connected to outside 120v, all outlets are hot from the power pole. When not connect to 120v, turning on the inverter powers all the 120v outlets - the transfer switch does the flip from outside power to the inverter power automatically.

Depends. If you are using a solar panel with a built-in controller, yes. If you are wanting to connect a controller-less panel to the solar controller in the Escape, no.

Sure, but I would just get the storage box when you order it. It is one of the Escape options I would not like to do without.
