Question Anyone: black fabric (dinette) - pics?

Hi all

I have been thru all 270+ pages of Its Friday

And maybe I missed it

But I don't remember anyone having done black fabric - dinette.

If anyone has - could you possibly post pics? (Any model)

And

If yes - are yo happy with the fabric?

Where did you get it ?

I would prefer a rougher fabric with some texture.

Not smooth.

Thanks.

Black Fabric

We were after black fabric and wanted something with rich texture and quality. Visited a local custom upholstery shop who were very helpful but expensive. We got a sample of the fabric we liked and I went out on the Internet and found a wholesaler for about 1/3 the price.

However, our trailer will not be completed until Oct. 7th so I have no pics for you at this time. But here are the links to the fabric manufacturer and the wholesaler who is located not to far from ETI. We had it shipped to our home and took it over to ETI with other items recently.

Our pattern is called "Heavenly" and color "Caviar" which is black. The rub count rated on this fabric was very high so should last. Price at upholstery shop $55/meter, wholesaler $18. Quite a difference. Here are the links...

Christie's Upholstery Supply

Christie's is the wholesaler and they had it at our door in 2 days. Mind you we live on Vancouver Island so not too far away. Hope this info helps and I will post pictures when we get them during the build.

Hope local business owners don't read this or the day may come when we don't have any...

Thanks so much Ken - this is super helpful

We are based in Los Angeles. - hoping to find a local dealer - or maybe I can order a sample swatch by mail I wonder

And

Are you familiar with Sunbrella fabric?

It is a more smooth finish.

How does your fabric compare to Sunbrella?

In terms of "feel' and texture.

Your selected fabric sure is super durable. Impressive !!!

Thanks
