Growing up in England in the late 50's and 1960's Spam was practically the only meat available. I loathe the stuff after being force fed it for years, I just cannot see the attraction!

All this spampoutine talk is making me hungry...time to scope out the fridge.
PS Off topic banter is definitely the sauce that makes this forum a community. It’s the gravy for otherwise drab mashed potatoes. The dressing for the salad. The maple syrup for the pancakes. Ok, off to the fridge now.
PPS Still love the Limited Edition windows and awning. Even more than both poutine *and* spam. Even more than poutine and spam served together! I just realized that I skipped lunch. That explains some things.

I have not had a window open on its own, but after reading here just closed them to touch the frame. The front passenger side 17a) was open about a half inch after r hrs of driving.

Hi.
I am not sure if anybody mention that alredy over last 34 pages but I found out today that going for thermal option-thermal windows and insulation- but choosing sliding thermal windows I will pay $900 instead of$1500 plus going with manual awning additional $700 saving.

I have mixed thoughts about the power awning but it sure is convenient. I made a simple T-device (expanding tarp pole to a piece of PVC pipe) to handle the rain and used it last month at the Oregon coast with success. I would like to have a side curtain to help with late afternoon shade but have not worked out a design yet.

wdr2, can you post a picture of your T device?

Frameless window rain guard

However Reace told me they were designing rain guards (gutters) that would go over the top of the windows, using double sided tape, to keep the rain away from the top hinge. I told him I would be satisfied with the rain guards and asked to be put on the waiting list.

I received the rain guards/gutters from ETI today and installed them.

Richard, could you describe their shape, a cross section. Is like the Ez-Gutters some have put on their trailers, but in black with vhb tape for attaching?

They're just a flap that covers the hinged area to prevent water ingress there. The water is just directed over them, not channeled to the side like the EZ Gutters. You can see them if zoom the photos. I'm assuming they're installed with VHB tape.

You are correct. There is a thicker rubber upper section that is about 1/4 inch wide with VHB tape on the back and a thinner rubber section that is about an inch wide which covers the top of the window. Both sections are flat but there is bend between the sections of about 45 degrees. It is all quite flexible, allowing me to bend it around the window corner a little.
