Blurry Photographs

Well my build has started and I received my second set of blurry build photos. In this day and age of modern cameras I am not sure why the sender would not look at the quality, and take them again if need be. I guess we all want these photo as reference points.

I would definitely contact ETI and ask for better photos, I expect to see the same as I have in the past, unblurred.

Could be a combination of both. I’m on my way out into the yard to take a picture oddly enough. I’ll try to do a good job.

It's awful easy to get bacon grease on the lens.

In Iowa, in March, mud on the lens is a real possibility too. This is the neighbors yard. My take on the story as explained to his dad by the 17 year old son was something like
Dad I have this girlfriend see and I wanted to show her something in the lower garage late last night see, and well I got a little stuck with the Dodge diesel pickup so I called my buddy with Ginny Mae, and he got stuck too see, so I called my buddy with a big tractor and he got us out kinda and then he left see? You understand don’t you Dad?
There is no joy in Mudville, Matty stuck the truck.

I remember one night coming back to Parson's College from a night of drinking at Connie's Place in Rome, Iowa. Pulled over to ahem, check for a rattle and the car started to slide down the embankment. Now what, it's 1:30 am and I crawl out the window and see a light on a house down the road. All farm land around me. So I go and knocked on the door, a farmer answered. I explained my predictament. He said to go on back to car and wait. Ten minutes later he pulls up with his JD and a chain. He pulls me out, I said Thank you at least a dozen times and slipped him $10 and drove back to the dorm, mud all over my 1966 Mustang car, but safe and sound.
Love them Iowan farmers....

Mud season here too. My neighbor tried to drive thru his yard to hook up his 5th wheel, from the tracks in his front yard he didn't get far.

I’m thinking rice. Or cranberries. Lots of flooding in SW Iowa. On my mail feed from the Iowa DNR they told of very noble rescue efforts by conservation officers and park rangers who have been dispatched to the flood area from all over Iowa. They stated that officers had saved 31 people, 17 dogs, 9 cats and 1 Iguana.

We have some farm ground that is perennially wet. Years ago my mom asked me if it was still wet on that 40. I said “Mom when you have crawdads between the corn rows, you have some wet ground.”
We have since put a piece of this 40 in wetland reserve where the crawdads, dragonflies, and turtles can live in peace in the vernal ponds we created several years ago. Used to boil crawdads every once in a while years ago. We ate so many once that my future brother in law got sick, my future mother in law told the kids to stay away from those Smith boys up on 9th street, but her daughter could not resist my good looks and charm, about 49 years ago. Probably should have listened to her mom.
