I was hoping to avoid launching a tire debate. The purpose of commenting on the original post's build list has been addressed, so any more could be considered a sidetrack. Moderators, please feel free to move this to a new thread if appropriate.

I don't believe this came up in previous discussions. Decades ago, when radial tires were relatively novel, they were not supposed to be reversed in direction of rotation once used; however, in this century I have not heard of this as a concern.

Escape is currently supplying the Carlisle Radial Trail RH. Trailer tires are generally old tech - designs are rarely changed because the technology of the 1960's (or in some models and sizes the 1930's) is considered "good enough" - but this is Carlisle's newest model, introduced a few years ago in replacement of their previous ST radial. Although Carlisle provides various advice - some of which I can't take seriously - the Tips & Best Practices section starting on page 92 of the Carlisle catalog doesn't say anything about reversing direction (or side of the trailer).

Goodyear's tire care guide and the Maxxis Trailer Tire Care and FAQ web page mention position rotation, with no warning about side-to-side rotation.

Perhaps consider the raised dinette. When stuck inside, it's nice to be able to see out the window without stretching. One of us is 6' tall, and there's still several inches of head space left between his head and the cupboards above.
