This orientation problem is bad software used to prepare or upload the images... usually iOS devices (iPhone, iPad) used with the Tapatalk app. It's never a problem for me - images display in the proper orientation every time without requiring me to rotate them before posting or as an edit - but I don't use iOS or Tapatalk.

Hmm. I've had images upload to the site 90 degrees off (some of them in my album) and I use a PC with Picasa and Firefox. On at least one occasion, I even turned one sideways before uploading and it still was loaded wrong. And I don't see anywhere on the upload page where one can change the orientation during (or even for a short while after) uploading as Donna and Glenn have suggested.

You can't use the forum software to change the orientation. I save the picture to my HD and use Paint to rotate. Delete the original pic and upload the new rotated pic in it's place.

I download from my iPhone to Mac. Then I export to desktop, open in PhotoShop and dodge and burn, crop, etc. and save.
I've not downloaded direct from iPhone.
Hit Preview and what I see is what you get.

The specific problem is that Apple uses a non-standard tag in the metadata of the image file to indicate that the normal direction is reversed. It's unreasonable to expect the forum software to handle this, but Picasa and Firefox might, even on a PC. So you might not notice the problem with images like this from any device (typically Apple but there could be others) on your PC. Software intended to work with iOS systems should realize that, and look for the tag to fix it before uploading, but Tapatalk doesn't... thus the problem for people uploading to the forum directly from their iPhones.
Apple's excuse for this problem seems to be that the phone can't handle rotating the image the right way up, but my Blackberry and Android devices have had no problem doing this. The real Apple problem is probably that they expect you to use only Apple devices and services: they make sure the orientation tag is handled throughout their software, so it's not a problem for the dedicated Apple user. This would work with Tapatalk app, if only that software were not defective.
My only suggestion for someone uploading from a computer and having this problem is not worry about it in advance - just upload, check the result, and if it isn't right make a rotated version on the computer and upload that.

There is no "issue". Escape installs the toilet paper holder properly. I think one owner tried to install it on an outside wall (closer to the toilet due to the longer reach from the toilet to the holder on a 21) using screws, and of course the screws pierced the shell. The bathroom insert is right up against the shell on the outer wall. There's a reason why Escape doesn't mount the holder there.
I suppose you could mount the toilet paper holder on the outside wall using VHB tape, but you definitely don't want to use screws. In the 19, the toilet paper holder is much closer to the toilet in it's normal mounting location under the sink. So, no need to relocate it.

Ah,ok now I remember this. Would not be an issue on the 19 unless I just wanted to use that area for something else. I still may want to hold off on placement until orientation.

Have they moved the TP holder in the 21'?

No. It's just that it's a longer reach from the toilet to the holder for some people.

I thought ours was on the outside wall but maybe not. Have to look next time!

I've only ever seen it mounted in a 21 under the sink.

Here are photos of the factory mount in our 2017 21'. Mounted to the outside wall, tucked partially up under the sink. Four screws/bolts (not sure which). If I recall some of the original discussion by NW Cat Owner, the problem was that the screws provided by the toilet holder company are too long, long enough to penetrate through the outside wall. ETI uses shorter ones when they install at the factory.

I think that is where the holder is on our 2015 and the screws those people used were provided to them by Escape. Escape has always put it on the outside wall as far as I know. Thanks for the photos.

The screws were provided by the manufacturer of the holder. Not sure how anybody is supposed to guess where you might mount the holder and how long the screws should be.
It's up to the installer to use appropriate tools appropriately.

Or, just let the factory do it. I don't see a need to change it.
