I think that it was a bit of an unfair comparison, the extra 18" length and 4" width of the Escape 21 just stacked the cards against his Camplite 16BHB. He liked all the storage space, the extra counter space, the smooth vinyl floors that were easy to sweep and didn't need rugs and runners to keep your feet warm, and the feeling of openness coming from the extra width and length of the 21. I think that the layout in the 16 BHB does make it seem particularly cramped inside, the storage at one end cuts into the space, the central bath made the kitchen area narrow, and then the extra length and width in the Escape 21 just added to the feeling. A comparison of the Camplite 16DB to an Escape 19 would probably be a lot more equal.
There were no pros to the Camplite or cons to the Escape - at least none that were mentioned.
