Checkerboard Flooring

Just posted these photos yesterday of the final build and have already received three messages from forum readers asking what the flooring is so thought I'd start a new thread. The flooring is Tarkett (brand) Checker Berry "Salt and Pepper" #14161. Tarkett mailed a sample to me. I've forgotten if I had to pay for the sample, but it was minimal if any. Once I made the final decision, Olson Floors in Abbotsford, BC, ordered the flooring directly from Tarkett and delivered it to ETI for me. ETI installers centered the flooring perfectly! But you need to ask them to do that if you want it centered. When researching this flooring, I found three other Escape trailers that already had this flooring, all three owners love it. So mine is at least the fourth trailer with this flooring so ETI has experience installing this flooring. I'm a retired truck mechanic and this interior style reminds me of a high-dollar race car trailer with built in red tool boxes. I'll personalize the interior with some memorabilia from "back when". Heading up to Chilliwack next week to pick up this new beauty ... can hardly wait! Thanks to everyone who posts on this forum, and to the people who manage the forum. This is a super place to get information and meet folks. Best wishes everyone!

That is SO cool (and a bit retro)!!! And the red fabric just completes the whole 'picture'. Hope to see your trailer at a rally some time.

This sink: https://www.wayfair.com/home-improve...k-whc2384.html.

This faucet: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Design-H...7695/300580986

I'll add a small swivel spray thingy to the end of the faucet. I like the added height of the faucet so larger pots can get under the faucet. And I like having one faucet handle ... the whole thing can swivel at installation so the handle is on either the left side or the right side of the faucet.

ETI did not charge to install this sink or this faucet. I thought about asking (but didn't) if there would be a credit since they would not have to supply the default sink or faucet. It seemed fair that we simply called it even ... they spent a few bucks on employee time to change the build sheet and then pay attention to the build sheet as changed and store the sink/faucet and make sure the hole was measured and cut differently etc, and they saved a few bucks by not needing to supply the default sink/faucet. It seemed a fair deal to me.
