Yup, we also have lot's of stuff on our table. Sometimes I have to shove it aside just to have room for dinner plates. A small table wouldn't work for us.

I cut mine down to 24" and use the Escape plastic slider on a Springfield pedestal. I'd have to go out and measure if you want to go smaller.

Actually I didn't cut down the original, I just made another using it as a template. Want to still have the full size in case I ever sell the unit.

Agreed. We bought a used 2013 19' that has the full sized table. After 2 years of camping in it, there have been several times that guests have joined us for cards or a meal when the weather was not the best. We now have a 5.0 TA on order and even though there will be 6" more space with its larger dinette, we still went with the full size table and the Springfield pedestal. I have to say, I'm really looking forward to the relative ease of the Springfield pedestal. The two stock posts are a pain!

Some of our fondest memories are those cozy evenings in the warm trailer with good friends. Those memories were a key factor in our decision.

I left it the same width and cut the length down to 24". I still wanted to be able to lower it and use it as part of the bad (would have to bring along another strip), or to use it in lounge mode. That's why I used the original as a template.

The U shaped dinette is one of my favorite upgrades. I don’t believe the table is smaller. It moves from side to side, which is nice for getting in and out. I put lots of pillows on the rear bench and create a nest for myself using the rear bench to put my feet on or vice versa. It also allows you to comfortably seat 4 people.

keep in mind you will probably have lots of stuff on the table so I would choose the larger one. And the regular dinette table is up against the wall - things are out of the way there, and can't fall off!
