Unlike my trailer where I have had to remove or cut access panels . Oliver has put a lot of design and thought in access to their utilities . You could make that statement if you personally haven't been in or seen a Oliver . Pat

Sorry for my assumption. The quote you included concerning the Oliver and the "Yep" of agreement to it and no mention of a theoretical double hulled Escape in your post obviously fooled me into erroneous thinking. My apologies.

No need. I wasn't very clear either.

I've no interest in an Oliver because to me it's a stretched and double hulled Casita, but there has been some theorizing about "what ifs" of a double hulled Escape. Hard to do and still have access to everything, and the big concern to me would be cost.

I enjoy towing a lightweight easy to tow trailer. We bought a brand new 2016 Escape 19 and 2017 Tacoma quad cab for between $60,000 and $65,000. I really don't want to spend more any more than that for an RV package. We tent camped for years an our Escape is the Taj Mahal to us. It's all we ever will need.
Wow. MSRP on a quad cab taco is over 40k here and mid to high 30s for a 19. 75k plus total in canuckistan.

I think the difference is in US dollars versus CAD dollars as I think you mean.

It really doesn't matter if your talking USDs or CNDs , it's over valued and over priced using either currency .
There is something wrong when less costs more !!
