Escape Referral Program - How does it work?

I could probably ask Reace but he is undoubtedly busy building trailers and Tammy busy taking orders (or does Tammy build trailers and Reace take orders?)

(Plus, I'd be a "newbie" that much longer if I didn't ask on the forum )

How does the Escape Referral Program work? I don't pick up my 17b until early July but I already have people (co-workers, relatives, and random strangers) that want "the tour" and details ($$$ paid, etc) as soon as we take possession.

I've seen Trillium's referral program details but is anyone familiar with the Escape program?

Hi Gord,

I am never to busy to respond to emails....I know I can't give you a gold star or boost your ratings on the forum but if it matters everyone deserves at least one gold star in my world.

Our referral program is very simple and probably follows all of the other manufacturers out there....When you take time out of your busy schedule and show your trailer to someone. If they decide to purchase an Escape trailer we will pay you $200.00cdn or the equivalent in USD once we have received the final payment for their trailer.

Sometime I am unaware that a referral has occured until the person is picking up their trailer and they say "I can't wait to show ---" As a general rule we pay a referral fee for approximately 75% of the trailers we manufacture.

Make sure you get lots of flyers when you pick up your trailer. I rarely go camping without someone asking for a tour and most walk away with a flyer for them or a friend in need.

I don't track those for the referral program, it's just fun.

I don't mind chatting and giving the tour on the road - people coming to my house might be a bit different.

(I think our referral came from some retired guy named Glenn :P )

I have had my trailer for 3 years now and have shown it dozens of times. If someone seems serious I hand out a brochure and usually write my name on it. So far no rewards. Not that I need the income or anything but do wonder if any of my "shows" have resulted in a sale.

Hi: shanngord...The Referral Program works quite well. In my enthusiasum for Escapes I get a bit ahead of it tho!!! We have taken "Our Escape Hatch" to at least 5 Fiberglass rallies, with anywhere from 20-120 other "Glass" owners, and are always open to show. I've lost track of how many lookers have bought or ordered Escapes, but it's the fun of the rallies and getting the Escape out that keeps us going back. Alf
