And then there is the TV or radio that some don't care for, but I do.
This is probably a minority view, but I love having one.
We will be glad to be in the minority. Definitely will have the inverter.

I guess all of us that have sealed units in our homes just wasted our money then.

Here is some good information on windows, skip down and read "about window glass"

While the principles of double-pane windows are the same whether the windows are in a house or an RV, there are lots of differences in how the various brands and models are built. An example we discussed earlier is the lack of thermal break in typical RV windows, although the principle is well understood and routinely used for buildings and would be particularly useful to avoid condensation in an RV in cold weather.

While building a window with two panes of glass stacked directly against each other would make no sense to me, a window could be built with a very small space, seals might not be great, and there may be no fancy coatings (although RV windows are typically tinted).

Hi! The open areas are individual areas with dividers in between just like the cubbies next to the door.

Cathy, did you decide on the location of your flip-up tables? I haven't yet gotten those pictures to you! Will try to get that done today.

Update - table slide is side to side only. Back to front is not available on 19.

One can always modify it later as Robert did.

The front to rear/side to side choices are only with the "U" dinette option. in the 21' model or the 5.0 TA model. The 19' stock table in the standard set up is always side to side. The 19 does not have the "U" dinette in the front, if it did then there may be a choice.

Our 19 has the U-shaped dinette. Reace informed me that it was a side to side slide because of the depth dimensions of the table. Not deep enough for a front to back slide. I modified it however without any problems.

That is interesting because someone called Crystal today who contacted Reace. He said she could only have side to side for her 21' in the works because there is not enough access back there for the seating. Maybe he thought she has a 19'.

It seems to me that side to side is safer while travelling. Our table on the 17B slid off onto a dinette cushion on I-40 north of Kingman I believe while going over a section under repair that was both rough and with a quick severe detour turn. Turns out a stop screw hadn't been installed. It ripped the plastic track but otherwise inside was OK.

With a front to back that table could potentially go flying forward during a hard stop. Went to the hardware store and bought some parts for a back-up stop. The female part hammers into the plywood (used some glue) then a screw with a flare(like a key)at the top goes through a hole I drilled in the sliding platform.

I just put a bungee strap around the leg to the top to hold it in place while in transit.

I think that someone was told that the table is actually supposed to be put down in place for a bed when traveling. We did not and it was fine. We kept it from moving back and forth.

Escape delivers the trailers to Sumas with the table up. We left it up when towing also and never had a problem. I suppose with the front to back slide we could secure it with a bungee cord but we haven't had any issues without it.

Love the bold fabric, we used a similar Jonny bahama pattern, and went with a butter colored Formica. We have a 2014 19, with solar, inverter, extra insulation, extra windows and standard dinette. The standard table is barely large enough as it is. The U shaped diner was too small for the two of us to use for much. Defiantly go with three burner stove, think about the oven, we miss having one. Our solar keeps the trailer constantly at full power, we boondocks mostly. Wouldn't have bought the microwave if I did it again since only works when plugged in.

Kam,
Try your microwave on the inverter sometime. If you have the 1500W inverter, it should power the modest microwave fine, assuming yours is wired the same as ours. We use our microwave whenever we stop mid-day or boondock.

Thanks Bill, that's what I thought I could do when we bought it. Not sure how to turn inverter on, thought was always on. But the 110 sockets don't work when we aren't connected to land line. The 12 volts do. We got the USB ports under the table as well to charge smart phones. The microwave wasn't on even when we plugged in at our brothers right after picking up. Will investigate. Thanks!

You should see a push button in the front of the drivers side bench. Push that to turn on inverter.

I really like your fabric, too! Thanks for sharing the pics!

Ok we figured it out. We have 600 watt inverter, and it is turned on with a switch under the drivers side bench. It does not stick out into the cabin, but rather is under the seat. We turned it on and the microwave worked! Thanks to you folks for helping us figure out how the darn thing worked. Cheers
