our first trailer had to crank, so my husband loves the electric one. I dont bake much at home but love to do it out camping. I like making hot muffins!

The MaxxFan doesn't need an extra cover unlike the Fantastic Fan. You can even use it when the lid is closed, sorta like a ceiling fan in your home.

Just to clarify this a little, the awning light strip can be quite bright but it is also dimable.

Yes, it comes with it's own remote and you can dim it down to almost off. For that reason I mounted my outside light below the belly band so that it illuminates the step when on. I use the awning light for other needs.

I didn't know that. Thanks for the clarification. All the photos I've seen show the awning light cord blazing away, bright as day.

Donna, Thank you for the clarification on the fan!
One other questions please.
Did I understand that the awning does not have to be extended for the lights to come on? And if it does, how far out does it need to go for lights to come on. Also do the lights change colors? All you '60 hippies don't answer this one. :-)

Awning does not have to be extended, the lights are independent of the awning, but so little light will escape if not extended partially, maybe 1' is all that is needed. No lights just high to low white led dimmer.
