Getting ready for tomorrow morning - production schedule

Looks like they are getting ready for the calls to start coming in tomorrow. From the website, production schedule:

Escape 17’ – Jan 3, 13, 16, 26, and 27, 2017
Escape 19’ – Jan 10, 11, 12, 23, 24 and 25, 2017
Escape 21’ – Jan 4, 5, 6, 17, 18, 19, 30, and 31, 2017
Escape 5.0 TA – Jan 3, 9, 16, 20, and 27, 2017

Good luck everybody who is going to be ordering.

Yes, that's how it used to be handled with the open slots posted on their website. And not only that, they used to have a calendar out several months so one could pick far ahead for a completion date if so desired. I had noticed some time ago the requirement for a deposit had changed to $2,500CDN. I think that is a good incentive to have just serious buyers reserve dates and will mean less finagling with production dates as time goes forward.

Good luck and best wishes to those of you wanting to order tomorrow! You'll have no regrets buying an Escape Trailer.

Edited: I just noticed there are 24 production slots open but don't remember how this compares with previous years.

Keep in mind that $500 in non-refundable up to the time the trailer goes into production. After that all of it is.

I had no idea they could do 8 - 21 footers a month. That's the one I want. Looks like I can relax a bit. I was worried they could only do 2 or 3 a month and I would just have to get lucky to get one next year. Maybe everything will work out.

I assume that we are seeing the higher production rate of the new expanded facility. 24 trailers a month would be 288 a year - almost three times the average production rate of Escape's first decade. With any luck, demand will keep the factory busy, but the backlog will be reduced and ordering will become more routine.

The planned volume appears to be close to the same for each model, with a bias for the 21'.

Tomorrows E.T.I.s Version of Black Friday. Good luck everyone that's going to order, and how about reporting back on this thread of your success or not, introduce yourself , tell us what you ordered, what you plan on towing it with. I think it would be fun.

I believe they average nearly one trailer per work day since setting up in their new facilities. Once the renovations are in place, we will see an increased pace of production. Just going from my wonky remembry here.

I'm not real clear on what happens tomorrow. Are they only accepting orders for trailers to be produced in January. I know they will hold them for free if you can't pick up immediately but if I want a trailer in May or June do I call tomorrow or do I wait until they post those months on the production schedule?

That's the first task when I get to the office. I'll have a couple hours to perfect the plan.

My guess is that they will post the February schedule once they see where the demand is so they can allocate the builds to the appropriate sizes as needed. Of course that's just my guess!

Just remember, ETI is going to be busy, busy, busy tomorrow and probably through the end of the week. Don't expect to get too many questions answered. While you're on the phone with them, others will be calling and there's only so many phone lines. I'd suggest holding your questions until next week. Right now, you're just trying to get on the schedule somewhere.
