Height of Coupler

Looking to do some initial setup on the E2 before going to Chiliwack in May to pick up our 19. What is approximate height of top of the coupler? Thanks

I believe that the trailer tongue coupler height is 19 inches from level ground to the top of the coupler. The TV hitch receiver height is measured from ground to the top of the 2 inch square reciever. The hitch reciever height should be 1" to 1 1/2" higher than the coupler. I hope that this info is helpful.

If you have any doubts, ETI can tell you exactly. Just send Sarah an e-mail.

What WarEagle said. Call ETI and and they will give you the height of your trailer hitch. But also ask if they set up the hitch for you.

Dennis, whom I believe is Tammy's dad, will measure and make sure your set up is level before bringing it across the border. Took about 3 hours total between arrival in the morning at ETI, orientation, set up, delivery and return after taking possession in Sumas and coming back to Best Western, located next door.

Would they do that if you buy the hitch someplace else?

Yes. ETI isn't about to let someone drive off towing a trailer that's not safe to go down the road or is so off level it damages either the trailer or the tow. Some other trailer builders may not give a rip, but ETI does.

Yes, mine was brought with me and he adjusted the height lower than where I had it. That is why I always recommend an adjustable stinger. I have far too any fixed ones in my garage.

They will set up hitch for a reasonable fee. Sarah indicated they charge $90 cdl/hr and this would probably rate out to $50 cdl or $35 usd.
