What about the MaxxFan remote upgrade, gives you a smoke lens that allows more light as well as not having to get out of bed to operate the fan, similar benefits to the digital thermostat option. I'd drop the the 12v heat pads, but ask for an exterior 120v outlet on the street side by the water hookup, for plugging in a heated water supply hose for winter use in stead of the 12v pads, your furnace and foam will protect your tanks.

Two separate upgrades right?
  1. One to change the cover from white to smoke (just a colour choice, or buy a replacement cover)
  2. The other to add remote control (the MaxxFan Deluxe (Remote Opening) model instead of the MaxxFan Deluxe (Manual Opening) model)

No, the deluxe remote upgrade comes with the smoke lens upgrade

Ah, okay, the products are unrelated but ETI is offering them together. Too bad there's no description from ETI, because it's entirely missing from the option list.

As the table shows, the 7000K and 7500K are the same product - MaxxFan Deluxe (Remote Opening) - except for cover colour; the 7500K is the one with the smoke cover. Now, wouldn't it be nice if something like this appeared in the option list:
MaxxFan model 7500K - remote opening, smoke cover (replaces stock MaxxFan)
... or even better, to offer a choice:
MaxxFan Deluxe with Remote Opening, choice of white (model 7000K) or smoke cover (model 7500K) (replaces stock MaxxFan)

I got the screen which comes down from the awning which will, essentially, give me a screened in back porch and extra room. Will come in handy when the mosquitos are bad.

Why the aluminum wheels? Curious.

'Aluminum wheels'

Well they may be easier to take care of, though I have read much back and forth on this topic.

So mainly I just like the way they look....

Get 5 aluminum wheels, that way the spare will match...I'm sorry I did not think of this on my 21' BlackJack.
