Yes we are still friends, even though initially I thought the asking price which I paid was a bit high. But then realized the value in having Alf deliver right to my driveway, orientation, and overnight, and help me in backing the trailer into a camping spot Can't ask for any more than that

Unfortunately we couldn't get to Niagara Wine Escape this year so no imbibing but hoping for next.

Lots of good ideas on how to price things. What becomes clear is there are a lot of variables that go into pricing, many of them are imponderable. How do you measure the vibe you get from the seller, what about finding the perfect set of options? All these, and many more can factor in.

I would like to suggest one more. In my experience there is a number you can apply to a used Escape. It is 3.5%. My contention is that they do depreciate over time and I suggest that they depreciate at the rate of 3.5% per year. So here is one more factor to insert into the myriad of other factors that determine a "fair" price. Remember this is only one measurement but it does give you something else to ponder.

Alf, hope you are not planning on selling any soon. After this compliment potential buyers might start to kill each other

Paul, if your figure is correct we sold our 2010 17B for almost precisely the correctly fair amount! And to some wonderful folks who are giving Blue a great new home.

Friends

Hi Alf, Hi Adrian, Hi Jim
I camped and drank with all three of you this past year and hope to again in2017.
These boys are campers with lots of camping experience, great life experiences and a
cold one when you need it. Don't ever pass up a chance to put a piece of wood on the fire with them. Or eat breakfast.
Merry Christmas to you all
Dave and Rita
