Mine never leaves the trailer for any reason. Just like all the stuff necessary for setting up. If not, I can't be responsible for my bad remembry.

I also felt like I needed to have the default mounting system installed since we were going to be gone 2 weeks.

Here is my plan for better or worse. I'm going to ask for a spare piece of linoleum. 1. Use a Forstner Bit to (carefully) cut out offending bolt holes. 2. Use a plug cutter to make a linoleum plug. (Same size of course). Glue with adhesive (liquid nail, yellow glue, etc.) Practice first with test pieces of linoleum glued to any scrap piece of plywood until I've got it down pat. Then I will install the Lagun Table Mount. I'm going to ditch the table top and make a custom one out of something splashy. Probably figured maple since the cabinets will be maple.

That is what I was hoping to hear and the reason why I got one.

Sounds like a lot of work when you can eat outside or use a folding TV table to eat on for 2 week. Keep in mind that some of the table base holes have been know to pop out the bottom of the trailer. Here is the showroom 19 from the fall of 2017.

You've made your point and it's sticking. I emailed Escape and told them not to installed the legs. Thanks for knocking me in the head. Besides I will have the 2 optional extension tables to use for that short period of time as well.

We did NOT have them install the table, so our floor is perfectly flat with nothing to catch. We have a folding table to go underneath the outdoor shower with a spigot for cooking and washing dishes outside, that can double as an inside table. We've already been out 119 nights, since pickup last fall, and have not even used the table inside ten times. In fact, in the last month or two, we haven't even wanted the table inside. Yes, we have a u-shaped dinette. Some people want a table, others don't.

Enjoy,

Perry

Regarding the power cord, ours is detachable and since we don’t have AC I just leave the big factory cord at home and have a small garden variety extension cord stored in the trailer.

No regrets on the power cord, but I do wish we’d gotten the prewire for solar and the prep for the cot. Also, sitting at the dinette I sometimes think it would be better raised but am still not sure...

Wish we had ordered a Best grade of flooring instead of the Good (builder grade) stock vinyl. That is harder to do later.

Though much easier for them to do, it is not too difficult to do after the fact. If one did not want to tackle it, a flooring guy could do it in short order.

After 38K miles in my good old 19, I can say:
  1. Including full insulation was my most brilliant decision.
  2. Adding the kitchen window was a great move because of the extra light and awning ventilation.
  3. Not adding a window in the bathroom has never been missed or needed.
  4. The 2 burner stove and 4.3 cu in fridge suits us just fine.
  5. The microwave is rarely used.
  6. I didn’t include AC but then installed one myself and saved several hundred dollars, but it is also rarely used. (Of course, that one time in AZ we would have died if we didn’t have it.)
  7. Extra duplex outlets and antenna ready connections are very smart.
  8. I added my own two bedside captains reading lights and they are the go to fixtures every time.
  9. You got to have a tongue box. My manual awning is fine with me.
  10. You got to have solar, and the twin 6 volt batteries, and the inverter, and maybe even that surge protector, or, maybe not.
Oh, and I am very happy I opted for my choice of seat fabric instead of theirs.

After 5+years of ownership
Everything on Myron's list with some more, spray foam under trailer .
Added bath window , let's in light and air if needed .
Ac , definitely and have used more times then I can count
Tongue box , definetly and our favorite . Easy to take care of 6 volt batteries .
Solar prewire , did my own and saved a couple hundred and better equipment .
Surge protection . Has worked a few times and glad we had it.
Waiting to install a few years down the road for our own fabric material and redoing the flooring .
Absolutely the opening kitchen window , Iight and air .
Love our easy and uncomplicated sliding windows and manual awning . No problems , lot's of adjustments .
I guess the only item not used is the installed off air antenna , but glad to in case have needed it's there .Campgrounds have cable so .... not in a campground we read etc.
Originally had attached cord which became a problem after a few years , it tangled bad . Would of been nice to have had a outside door and enclosed box like we had previously to easily untangle cord but .... I cut cord off and installed Smart Plug system and made extra cord with cut off Escape cord .
Use our microwave if have hookups just like at home .
Use our oven every trip just like at home .
Love our Springflield for table . Need to put down every night for pups to sleep at dinette .
Love the Sam Vent hood we installed
Anything that wasn't on trailer we have changed or improved down the line . The only items in the build I would be worried about is things you can't change yourself or is in the structure of the trailer . Pat
