There is a tremendous amount of stuff to remember with all the different systems... I definitely need to put together a procedure manual for spring, trip packing, departing for trip, etc...

And organizing the interior storage is a never-ending project, I think.

By now I've fired everything up, and it all seems to work fine (as long as you include "popping the 15A circuit breaker in our house" in the set of acceptable behaviours for a 20A air conditioner...).

Still laughing about that light switch...

I assume you have put water in your tank and tested the pump and filled the water heater prior to turning on the propane, these 2 items took the longest.

No worries there. There is a huge amount of stuff to learn, but I proceeded carefully. I didn't turn the hot water tank on until after I flushed the system and filled the hot water tank.

Getting the air out of the water system and the hot water tank in particular did take surprisingly long, but I didn't turn the heat on until all the sputtering stopped.

I ran probably 50 gallons of water through the system to flush it. There was a "winterized" sticker on the counter when the trailer arrived, so I assume there was antifreeze in the lines. I wanted to run enough water to get rid of that along with as much "new plastic" taste as I could.

Oh, and we've finally settled on a name. "The Dog House"...

And I just realized that people will assume we have dogs, which we don't (yet, at least)... Ah well, it'll be a conversation starter...

I always thought the dog house was another name for my "Man Cave" where I did not mind being in every now and then.
